NOT CURRENTLY SEEING THE ROLE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR?
Keep in Touch10TX is seeking an experienced engineer with expertise in broadcast systems and equipment, specifically IP equipment for uncompressed/compressed video formats and multicast networking. This role will be part of our 10TX live events division, responsible for maintaining and supporting the core broadcast infrastructure and architecture, building transmission plans for live events, and troubleshooting critical issues during those events.
10TX is a leading signal transmission company trusted by professional sports leagues, broadcasters, content producers, and entertainment companies to deliver live events and pay-per-view programming worldwide.
Nextologies is a full time video delivery company that handles over 1,000 channel deliveries globally. 10TX is the live event division of Nextologies, where we work with the top brands around the world to help them transmit their live television shows. We are looking for a team to work in the West Coast Video Network Operations Center (VNOC). That team will be the front-line quality control sentry for the channels that Nextologies transports and supports globally.
We need people who love technology—even if your degree isn’t in IT or computer science— and who thrive on the fast-paced changes technology delivers. The ideal candidate will bring a love for learning new things every day and the ability to transition easily, and happily, from driving an independent investigation into channel quality issues to communicating across all levels of our multi-national team and client base.
We are looking to fill the 3pm to 12am midnight Pacific time zone in the Nextologies/10TX West Coast VNOC in Las Vegas. This is a 5-day work week, but not Monday- Friday. In order to staff the full seven-day week, the Las Vegas VNOC team will alternate schedules so that everyone on the team can get periodic Saturday/Sunday weekends. The ability to work a rotating schedule is required.
In our Toronto headquarters, our VNOC currently operates a 24/7/365 schedule. Our goal is to create additional NOCs worldwide to share the 24-hour shifts, allowing us to remove the need for overnight shifts for any of our video network operations center teams.
Tentative schedule (can only shift +/- few hours)
Toronto Office 8am-5pm (local time) 9hr day
Hiring for: Las Vegas Office 3pm-12am (midnight local time) 9hr day
Europe Office 7am-4pm (local time) 9hr day
At the end of each location work day, you will be responsible for handing off tasks or tickets to the next team to take onwards and resolve or manage.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $60,000 - 90,000
Schedule:
5 consecutive days of work rotating start days
Work Location: In person at the Las Vegas office
